Easy Asian Chicken Vegetable Stir Fry & Pampered Chef Review

May 31, 2011 By admin

I just tossed this together the other day with stuff I had on hand
Was tasty, nutritious, easy, fast and cheap!

Recipe:
Ingredients:
Sorry I don’t do a lot of ‘measuring’ when I’m cooking so these are rough estimates which you can increase/decrease depending on how well you like the ingredients, how many people you’re serving.
How I made it, it had about 6 normal size servings.

Half a bag of thin egg noodles
6-8 ounces of chicken
Half a head of broccoli (cut up in small pieces)
1 can of mini corn
1 can of bamboo shoots
1 can of water chestnuts
sprouts (whatever kind you like, I had mung and alfalfa sprouts on hand)
mushrooms-sliced (whatever amount you want to put in)
green onions (to your own tasting)
about 4 cloves of fresh crushed garlic
Pampered Chef Asian Seasoning Mix
approx. 2 TBS. coconut oil
approx. 4 TBS. soy sauce
approx. 4 TBS. oyster sauce
approx. 3 TBS water

Note: you can substitute any of the vegetables for others that you may like better, this is just what I had on hand and used

Directions:
Cut the chicken into strips.
Season the chicken with the Pampered Chef Asian Seasoning Mix.

In a pot, boil water and add the egg noodles. The really thin ones shouldn’t be boiled for more than 4 minutes usually.
When those are done, drain and set aside.
You’ll be adding the noodles to the rest in a bit.

In a big pan, heat the coconut oil, soy sauce and oyster sauce (amounts may vary depending on how ‘saucy’ you want it to be. If you find it too dry while cooking, add more of your favorite.)
When sauces and oil are warm, add the seasoned chicken.
Add the mushrooms.
Cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
Add the other vegetables and cook for about another 3 minutes.
Add the 3 TBS of water and cover the pan with a lid to quick steam the broccoli for a couple of minutes.
Add the egg noodles, mixing everything together in the pan.
Continue cooking until the chicken is thoroughly cooked (should only take another minute or so).

Pampered Chef Review

The Pampered Chef Asian Seasoning Mix had an unique and versatile blend of flavors, including ginger, pepper and citrus. It was ideal for this recipe but could be used for chicken, pork, fish, seafood, dipping sauce or dressing.

I have a complete set of Pampered Chef Bamboo Utensils that I love. I’ve had them for a couple of years and they’re still like new!
Bamboo is ideal for use in cooking utensils, it doesn’t warp, crack or stain like wood does. It’s also harder and longer lasting than wood is. If you want to avoid scratching your cookware, use bamboo utensils. It wont damage nonstick or stainless steel cookware. Another added bonus, bamboo won’t conduct heat. That means you can leave it laying on the edge of your pot or pan and not worry about burning your fingers when you pick it up to stir your food! That’s always a bonus 😉

Some quick facts about bamboo:
Bamboo is one of the earth’s fastest growing plants…and yes, it’s actually a grass.
Bamboo is environmentally friendly because it’s constantly replenishing itself and growing, making it sustainable and renewable.

The individualized service I got from Noel, my Pampered Chef Rep was awesome. She was attentive to what I wanted and assisted in making suggestions (which were all ideal! I have bamboo tray, bamboo salt/pepper grinders, bamboo bowls-do you think I have an addiction enough bamboo?).
The products were all shipped quickly and came to me in perfect condition. I’m definitely satisfied on more than one level with my products and am reminded of that daily when I use them.
