Oriental Glazed Chicken Breast Recipe
This is a simple recipe with just a few basic ingredients.
Serve with some brown rice and a veggie for a complete meal.
-1/4 cup chicken broth
-2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
-1 tablespoon apricot preserves
-4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
-salt and pepper to taste
-1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl; set aside.
– Pound to 1/4-inch thickness using a mallet or rolling pin. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
-Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-Add chicken, and sauté for 3 minutes on each side.
-Remove chicken from pan.
-Reduce heat; carefully stir in broth mixture.
-Return chicken to pan; cook 3 minutes or until done, turning to coat.
