We got the Southern BBQ Recipe Chicken in thin crust. Ideal timing since my daughter had been talking about pizza for a few days before this! This particular pizza boasts Classic Southern flavors blend to perfection: grilled white meat chicken and roasted red onions piled on a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce and topped with real mozzarella and gouda. When I opened the packaging (which is way cool by the way), I found a pizza that had big chunks of chicken and onions on it… The aroma was light and refreshing, we could actually smell the cilantro and the not overly sweet BBQ sauce. The thin crust was ideal, making this pizza a light and refreshing treat.
I’ll have to say one of the things that caught this eco-lover’s eye was the packaging! The way they package their pizzas, it cuts down on packaging by 30%. Smaller carbon footprint and smaller amounts of waste are always a plus…something I wish more companies concerned themselves with. Besides the environmental factor of the packaging, these pizzas utilize the new FRESCH-TASTE SEAL™ that helps lock in the dynamic flavors.
